Ronald G. Cantin, III

Associate

Ronald Gerard Cantin III was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2021. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his education from Holy Cross School (2014), The University of New Orleans (B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, 2018), and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law (J.D., cum laude, Certificate of International Legal Studies, 2021).

While in law school, Mr. Cantin was a board member of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was a multiple program member of the Loyola Advocacy Center. He served on the Board for the Trial Advocacy Program, and he was a member of Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution Society as a staff member. Upon graduation from law school, he was recognized for his advocacy skills when he was inducted into the Order of Barristers.

Mr. Cantin’s practice areas include Insurance Defense, Admiralty and Maritime Law, Louisiana State Workers’ Compensation, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Subrogation Claims, Criminal Defense and Family Law.

Mr. Cantin is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Jefferson Parish Bar Association, the Italian American Bar Association, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and the Alumni Board of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Cantin volunteers as a Trial Advisor for the Loyola Trial Advocacy program.
