Henri Jacobs

Henri Jacobs is a native of New Orleans and a proud alumnus of Jesuit High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Louisiana State University, where he also completed minors in French and International Business. 

He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in May 2026, along with a Certificate in International Legal Studies. While in law school, Henri gained practical experience in a variety of litigation-focused settings, including serving at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and working with several personal injury law firms in the New Orleans area. Through these positions, he developed experience in legal research, motion drafting, discovery, appellate case analysis, and assisting with depositions and mediations. His work across both trial and appellate settings provided him with exposure to different stages of the litigation process and strengthened his legal writing and analytical skills. 

At Loyola, Henri served as a Teaching Assistant for Louisiana Civil Procedure and was actively involved in the school’s Advocacy Center. He competed on Loyola’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, developing skills in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, and was recognized by the Advocacy Center with its Best Mediator Award. Henri also participated in Loyola’s study abroad program in Spetses, Greece, further developing his interest in international law and gaining exposure to legal studies in an international setting. He was also involved in the Trial Advocacy program, Maritime Law Society, International Law Society, and Environmental Law Society.

Outside of his legal work, Henri enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, traveling, and watching sports.
