Chelsea V. Hale

Chelsea V. Hale applies extensive courtroom and judicial experience to the defense of complex civil litigation throughout Louisiana. Prior to joining private practice, Chelsea served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jennifer M. Medley in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, where she gained firsthand insight into the management, adjudication, and resolution of some of Louisiana’s most challenging civil disputes. 

During her judicial service, Chelsea assisted in numerous jury and bench trials involving toxic tort litigation, medical malpractice claims, constitutional matters, contract disputes, personal injury cases, and other complex civil proceedings. She reviewed and analyzed dispositive motions, discovery disputes, evidentiary issues, and post-trial matters while drafting hundreds of judgments, opinions, and court orders. Her experience working within the court system provides clients with a valuable understanding of how cases are evaluated and decided at every stage of litigation. 

Chelsea’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, product liability, insurance defense, toxic tort claims, personal injury defense, and other complex civil matters. She is recognized for her attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and practical approach to dispute resolution. 

While attending Southern University Law Center, Chelsea served as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Clinic and worked with the Louisiana Department of Justice’s Civil Litigation Division. She is also a published author, having co-authored The Intersection of Race and Rape Viewed Through the Prism of a Modern-Day Emmett Till, which was published by the American Bar Association. 

Chelsea is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, is a certified Louisiana Family and Civil Mediator, and serves as a Louisiana Notary Public.
